FIAAP INTERNATIONAL  2011

A GREAT SUCCESS.

FIAAP INTERNATIONAL 2011 was held at Koelnmesse, Cologne, Germany from 3 – 5 May 2011. This was the first time the exhibition had been held in Europe and also at this new venue in Germany. The 2011 event proved to be a great success with both the exhibitors and visitors.

Over 8000 individual industry executives came through the doors over the show time period. Many of the visitors having travelled a long way to attend the show, in all there were visitors from 118 countries.

A number of conferences were held and these also proved successful. The conferences attracted over 600 delegates. It was not only the FIAAP conference that addressed the use of ingredients and additives within feeds. The conferences listed below also studied the use of ingredients and additives within these specialist areas.

The overall description for the event was high quality. The visitors undoubtedly found this with the number of exhibitors. The number of exhibitors displaying FIAAP products was 51. The visitors also found the standard of exhibits and the selection of products and services offered by the exhibitors was excellent.

The exhibition also provided the perfect platform to launch new products and services to the market.

Coming from Canada I found the exhibition to be in a great location where I could walk to/from every day. Access to accommodation was fantastic too. The ease of registration was excellent and the quality of the exhibitors outstanding.”

92% of the visitors confirmed they would visit the next show.

The exhibitors also found the number of visitors were good and the quality excellent. 28.8% of all the visitors were of a “director” level.

The feed ingredients and additives attracted a lot of interest, though a number of these visitors commented that they would like to see more ingredient and additive suppliers at the next exhibition in 2015 exhibition.
