FIAAP 2008 was first introduced to the market alongside Victam Asia 2008. The highly successful new event was the meeting place for suppliers and buyers of feed ingredients and additives from across this important region. Exhibitors within FIAAP 2008 (Feed Ingredients & Additives Asia Pacific 2008) introduced a comprehensive display of ingredients and additives to the animal feed, petfood and aquafeed markets of South and South East Asia.

It was an instant success, not just in the number of exhibitors who realised the market opportunity of having an event devoted solely to the high cost ingredients and additives that are now used within the manufacture of feeds for animals, fish, shrimp and pets, etc. BUT also the visitors and conference delegates - nutritionists, feed formulators, veterinarians etc. from compounders, co-operatives, integrators, large farms and hatcheries, knew that by attending the event they would find a trade show and conferences that were specifically organised for them.

This success was repeated in 2010 when FIAAP Asia 2010 was held alongside Victam Asia 2010 and GRAPAS Asia 2010. See our Post Show Report for more information.

Now, a new FIAAP event is planned in Cologne in 2011.
