FIAAP, GRAPAS & Victam ASIA 2010
THE QUALITY EVENT
“As a visitor I can now come to this one event and find what I need for my mill and all under one roof!”
“I enjoyed the meeting, which was a good program and well run. The trade display associated with all the days was one of the best I have seen.”
Some quotes from some of the many satisfied visitors and conference delegates who came to the event.
It was not just the visitors who were happy but also the exhibitors - “We were able to sit down and talk to our customers, this show brings the right people to our booths, the decision makers.”
“I just want to inform you that Victam Asia 2010 was great! The location of the stand was perfect! Our sales manager was so pleased that he wants the same stand next time, or in the same row.”
Just a few quotes that seemed to capture the feelings of the “entire” show.
Quality was the word that was being used to describe the event – the type and number of visitors, the conference delegates, the exhibits at the trade shows and the series of technical conferences. All seemed to be of high quality.
In opening the event Dr.Kanok Katikarn, Advisor to the Minister, Ministry of Agriculture and Co-Operatives, said how important the feed and grain industries are to Thailand today. That holding such events as FIAAP Asia, GRAPAS Asia and Victam Asia 2010 in Bangkok helped to ensure that Thailand would be at the forefront of technology in feed processing, rice milling and grain processing. Especially as Thailand is a major exporter throughout the world of poultry, shrimp, fish and of course rice. Dr. Kanok visited many of the exhibition stands and was impressed at the variety and quality of the products on display.
It seems that it was not just Dr. Kanok who was impressed with the event, visitors from throughout Thailand, South and South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and even from as far away as Mexico and Argentina flocked in to see, examine and discuss the wide and varied range of products on display. These included animal feed ingredients, additives and formulation in the FIAAP show. Animal feed processing technology in the Victam exhibition and lastly rice milling, grain processing and preservation in the newly introduced GRAPAS show. It was generally felt by both visitors and exhibitors that having the three trade shows and their conferences together was of great benefit.
All of the technical conferences were well received and attended. Readers are able to purchase copies of the papers by visiting www.victam.com and linking to the relevant conference secretariat.
Mr. Henk van de Bunt, the General Manager of Victam International BV, the organizers of the event, announced that FIAAP Asia, GRAPAS Asia and Victam Asia would return to Bangkok in Spring 2012. He also went on to invite both the visitors and exhibitors to Victam’s next event which will be held in Germany in May 2011. This will be FIAAP International, GRAPAS International & Victam International 2011 and the trade shows and conferences will be held at the Cologne Exhibition Centre in the very centre of Cologne, Germany from the 3 – 5 May 2011.
