The general reaction to the event from visitors, conference delegates and exhibitors was that the overall event was a great success. About 3900 visitors from 51 countries attended the trade show at which 128 exhibitors from all over the world participated. The exhibition had for the first time included exhibition pavilions from both Thailand and the PRC. In opening the event Dr. Chaweewan Leowijuk, Deputy Director General of the Thai Department of Livestock Development praised the many exhibitors for participating at the event in Bangkok and said that the organisation of the event in Thailand supported the importance of Thailand’s agriculture industry not just as a major exporter but also as a centre of excellence for feed and food production. The organisers of the event have also announced that the event will be held again in Bangkok during the Spring of 2008. You can see a photo impression of the event here.
Victam relations might have received viruses coming from an e-mail address ending with @victam.com. Please be aware that these messages are not coming from Victam. The responsible virus uses a random e-mail address it finds on the computer it has infected, to 'spoof' as the sender of the new virus e-mail it sends from the infected computer. (So in actual fact, the 'obvious' sender of the virus mail is in actual fact never the real sender.) For more information about large scale mailing, spoofing viruses, please see this page from Symantec Security Response. |
